Who this is for

Bookkeeping for incorporated businesses and professionals

We provide virtual and online bookkeeping services for businesses and incorporated professionals across Canada, accessible from anywhere in the country. For most clients, bookkeeping and corporate tax are handled together by the same team. That means the person filing your T2 at year-end already knows your books inside and out. No handoff to a separate accountant, no translation of your records. Your year-end is faster, more accurate, and more likely to capture every deduction because the context was never lost.

The real problem

What messy books actually cost you

Most business owners in Manitoba know their bookkeeping needs attention. The cost is not just stress at year-end. It shows up in missed deductions, late GST filings, inaccurate financial reports, and an accountant who cannot do proactive planning because they are too busy cleaning up the prior year.

Questions about bookkeeping

Bookkeeping vs. accounting, QuickBooks Online, payroll, and what it costs.

Ask us directly
What is the difference between bookkeeping and accounting?

Bookkeeping is the ongoing process of recording and categorizing financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and keeping your financial records current and accurate. Accounting involves interpreting those records, preparing financial statements, filing tax returns, and providing strategic advice. Bookkeeping is the foundation that accounting is built on. For most of our clients, we handle both, which means the person preparing your T2 is working from books they understand and trust.

Do I need a bookkeeper if I already use QuickBooks Online?

Having access to QBO and having accurate books are two different things. Many business owners use QBO but find that transactions are miscategorized, accounts are not reconciled, and the reports do not reflect reality. QBO is a tool, and like any tool, the output is only as good as the person using it. If you are spending time in QBO every month and still not confident your books are right, or if your accountant spends significant time cleaning things up at year-end, a dedicated bookkeeper typically saves both time and money over the course of a year.

How much does bookkeeping cost for a business?

Bookkeeping fees depend on your transaction volume, the complexity of your accounts, your number of bank accounts and credit cards, and your GST filing frequency. For most business owners and incorporated professionals, monthly bookkeeping runs between $500 and $2,000 per month. Businesses with higher transaction volumes or more complex structures may be outside that range. If your books need an initial cleanup before we can work from them on an ongoing basis, that is a separate one-time engagement. The best way to get an accurate number is a short consultation where we can look at your actual situation and give you a clear picture of what the engagement involves.

Do you offer payroll services?

We do not handle payroll processing directly. Payroll has its own compliance requirements, deadlines, and software, and we believe it is best handled by dedicated payroll specialists. We work with trusted payroll partner companies and are happy to refer you to the right provider based on your situation.

What accounting software do you use for bookkeeping?

We work exclusively in QuickBooks Online (QBO). It is cloud-based, which means your books are always current and accessible, and it connects directly to your bank accounts and credit cards to pull transactions automatically. At year-end, your QBO file feeds directly into your corporate tax return, which eliminates duplicate data entry and reduces the risk of errors. If you are currently using QuickBooks Desktop, Wave, Xero, or another platform, we handle the migration to QBO as part of onboarding. If you are starting fresh, we set up the file and chart of accounts from scratch.
